London again

Two weeks ago I was in London for five days: I flew into Gatwick on the opening day of the Olympics, but there were no no queues and no delays on arrival or on the train journey into the city.

I saw the exhibition of Grayson Perry's tapestries "The Vanity of Small Differences" (and some pots) at the Victoria Miro Gallery, Wharf Street. The building is sensational - a new high ceilinged room on top of an old warehouse.

After the Grayson Perry exhibition, I went once again to the Ceramic Galleries of the V&A - I think I photograph the same pots on every visit (Staite Murray, Coper...) but this time there were some new ones too.

Aha! some of my favs here too. Hans Coper very beautiful. Also I'm inspired by Akio Takamori's 3D development of drawn line.
Would love to see the Grayson Perry exhibition live. The TV series was excellent, thought provoking.

I hope the TV series gets sent here in Denmark - we can't access it otherwise...
