Cambria pottery: I am firing in this kiln because the wood kilns at the Bray are too big for me to fill in the month I have been here. It is only about 5 miles out of Helena. Patricia G: Wadding is a mixture of alumina, sawdust and china clay - it resists the ash and salt in the kiln atmosphere and prevents the pots from becolming stuck to the shelves.
