All the work is glazed, wadded, packed - ready to be transported up to the kiln in Unionville tomorrow morning.

I am not familiar with distances and places. Why do you need to take them to Unionville? What type of kiln exists there? I will look forward to seeing the fired results.

Cambria pottery: I am firing in this kiln because the wood kilns at the Bray are too big for me to fill in the month I have been here. It is only about 5 miles out of Helena.
Patricia G: Wadding is a mixture of alumina, sawdust and china clay - it resists the ash and salt in the kiln atmosphere and prevents the pots from becolming stuck to the shelves.
