The firing was over at 1am monday morning - 15 minutes ago. This is definitely the last firing with this chimney pipe - now lacy edged and with a network of small holes round the top. But it drew well for this last time.Cones all went down as they should, and the rear of the kiln appeared to be hotter than the front. But cones can be deceiving so I will await the opening - probably on wednesday evening.
