| Caternary kilns with shared chimney - Soda kiln on the right My plan is to fire in one of the caternary kilns - probably without soda. If the soda kiln is fired while I am here I will make thrown work for it - I prefer the pinched bowls and pots without the extra shine soda gives. The air is so dry here that work dries very quickly, so that I can decorate the pinched pots I made yesterday this afternoon - they are almost bone dry. I have made 4 different terra sigillatas to try on them. |
