Seattle Waterfront |
Yesterday I left Seattle where I had for four days participated in that feast of ceramics that is the
NCECA Conference, with its attendant plethora of exhibitions spread over a geographically impossibly wide area, and flew to Helena, Montana, to start my residency at the
Archie Bray.

Stormy clouds over the old brickworks yesterday evening |

The sign by the door of my studio..... |

Studio 9am |
|
The train kiln - I do not think I can fill it in the time I have here |
|
But perhaps this Catenary kiln? |

Gail Nichols bowl just outside my door |

Morning's work using Grolleg porcelain |
|
The air is so dry these bowls can be finished in one day |
