Firing today - now with added wheat bran

The bran is sucked up and blown into the kiln

Today things are hotting up, cone 11 is bending in front (4pm) and an hour ago wheat bran was blown into the kiln for about 5 minutes. As a special feature, shredded Estonian banknotes, which had been withdrawn from circulation at the beginning of this year when the Euro was introduced, were added to the mix.

The greenish shreds are the former Estonian kroon notes

The firing will be finished this evening round about 8pm.
