Firing

A good thing about wood firing is that you get to be outdoors for hours on end, instead of being crouched indoors unaware of the weather. Today the sun was very hot, but in the wind and in the shadows it was cold - it will be below freezing tonight  -8 centigrade (18F) and yet rise to 20 degrees (67F) tomorrow....
Seen around the NAU kilns today:

Wood for the firing - juniper - arrives

Potter's dog 1 - "Mona"

Potter's dog 2 -  "Able"
