"Earth and Fire" with wind and rain

The weather last weekend at Rufford was never really good - Saturday and Sunday were both cold, blustery and with showers of rain. Friday was the best day, weather-wise.
My stand, in the North Courtyard, was up against a beautiful brick wall which provided a fine backdrop.

I was glad to be able to buy small pieces from both these potters. Nothing big, as I was flying home with only one suitcase.

"Earth and Fire"

Today I am packing the work I made at Red Lodge and getting ready to fly to London, as I am going to have a stand at "Earth and Fire" in Rufford, Nottinghamshire on the 20th, 21st and 22nd June.
I am looking forward to seeing the work of Paul Jessop, Niek Hoogland and Hannah McAndrew, because despite my own obsession with high temperatures, I love earthenware.

Niek Hoogland - from Keramisto, Milsbeek, Holland in the 1990s
Also great  that Clementina van de Walt and Hennie Meyer from South Africa are going to be there! Our stands are close to each other in the Back Courtyard.
