On the way back from NCECA

I am on my way back from NCECA in Phoenix, Arizona and am at the moment in Phoenix Airport.
I think I have got used to temperatures in the upper 80s and being among 3500 ceramic enthusiasts.
Highlights: The wonderful extruded floor by Nathan Craven at the Bray Show, likewise extruded fantastical cityscape at the Juried Student Show by Dennis Gerwin, and THIRD extruded piece: Huge pipe decorated by Don Reitz at the Mission Clay Pipe Works ...all names and details to follow when I get home.

Visit to Malmø

We have just been to Malmø to see an exhibition of photographs by the South African photographer - David Goldblatt, at Malmø Kunsthal.

Afterwards walked around the Västra Hamnen area, where you can't help but notice Santiago Calatrava's "Turning Torso" - it dominates everything.
